The Art Club

This dedicated bunch of Students come out every lunch time on Thursday (after having their lunch) to be part of the Art Club. At present we are working on a top secret project that involves lots of flour, water ,a couple balloons and lots of mess! Stay tuned for updates!!! :-)

Ps. Papier Mache Mix - 1 part flour to 2 parts water and add either a little salt or lime to keep insects away.  You can also add a little elmers white glue for extra stickiness. Blend to a smooth paste. Tear news paper into small strips and dip into the paste. Be sure to wipe all excess liquid off of your news paper before pasting it on to your ballon for faster drying time. Make sure each new layer is COMPLETELY dry before adding another layer! Parents, this is a fun project to do with your kids..but I suggest you do it outside and have the hose ready!
